Internal Medicine in Focus
Our Department of Internal Medicine specializes primarily in the treatment of cardiological diseases. We offer comprehensive care for cardiovascular and vascular diseases – from acute diagnosis to long-term follow-up.
Furthermore, we also care for patients with other internal medicine conditions such as metabolic disorders (e.g., diabetes mellitus, obesity), diseases of the pancreas, liver, and gastrointestinal tract. All treatments are based on individually tailored diagnostics and benefit from the close collaboration between our specialist departments.
Your personal treatment plan
Our focus is on patient-centered care that combines diagnostics, therapy, and counseling. In addition to medical treatment, we also provide support with social and medical issues – such as applying for a care level assessment or reintegration into the workforce.
The treatment concept is complemented by psychological and occupational therapy measures that promote sustainable recovery and a better quality of life.
